About the Competition
The STEMxcelerator Pitch Competition is a competitive grant program designed to surface and support the next generation of transformative STEM education solutions.
Battelle is seeking proposals that accelerate innovative practices in K–12 STEM education by:
- Strengthening STEM workforce readiness through career exploration, mentorship, work-based learning, or career pathway development.
- Expanding access to high-quality STEM experiences for K–12 students.
- Introducing or scaling innovative learning models that foster STEM identity, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.

Pitch at the STEM Innovation Forum
Finalists will be invited to present their ideas at the STEM Innovation Forum, hosted by STEMconnector, STEMx, and Battelle Education in Columbus, Ohio on November 17th and 18th, 2025.
The Forum convenes 200 leaders from across the STEM education and workforce ecosystem—including K–12 and higher education, nonprofits, government, and industry.
Through keynotes, breakout learning sessions, an Innovation Showcase, and networking receptions, the Forum offers:
- National visibility for your program.
- Valuable feedback from STEM leaders and practitioners.
- Connections and collaborations that can accelerate your impact.
